Hi,
Menue does not work when viewing page in a mobile or using a tablet. I also checked your demo sites and none of them can show the menue, all I get is “undefined”. I have asked friends to check and also tested several of your themes and I get the same error. Due to Covid-19 I have not been able to work on my page so I do not know if this i s how it behaved from the beginning or this is due to an update on WordPress. Therefore a solution is not to renew the proversion untill the demo works properly.
I would appreciate some kind of guidance as to how getting it working or is the bundlepurchase a big misstake?
January 26, 2021 at 2:01 PM #129343CharlieNutParticipantI’m having the same issue. The menu is not functional on mobile devices. I have sent you two emails regarding this, as of today Ive had no response. If no answers or solutions are put forward by end of this week I will instruct PayPal to issue a refund.
January 26, 2021 at 2:26 PM #129344CarinaParticipantHi Charlie, they will not reply to you and I still have not received any help. They have not updated JQuery. In one of hte latest updates of WordPress it changed but evisionthemes have no made any updates or nothing in a very long time. Demand a refund, unfortunately I paid using my creditcard directly so I cannot do that 🙁 I go at tip to either install an older version of WordPress or try this plugin the Enable jQuery Migrate Helper. It helps with the menu but it is only for ashort time use. I will have to remove the theme as I cannot fix this jquery stuff myself 🙁

January 28, 2021 at 10:15 AM #129360eVision ThemesKeymasterSorry for the late response. We will update the theme soon. But for now, you can install this plugin and it will work.
January 28, 2021 at 10:24 AM #129361CarinaParticipantYou replied with the info I already gave the other person with this problem. It is not a good solution as it results in errors other places. Not only a late reply but you or whoever is in ownership have been using twitter and other social media but not even bothered in replying here or elswhere I asked about replies concerning this matter.
January 28, 2021 at 10:58 AM #129362CharlieNutParticipantchoose legacy.1.12.4…and save it.
January 28, 2021 at 12:20 PM #129364CarinaParticipantCharlie I am using that already, that is why I told you about it. The problem is I keep getting errors on my WordPress as the older version is insecure.
January 28, 2021 at 5:25 PM #129367CharlieNutParticipantI dont know I’m not a web developer, just owner. On the jQuery settings page/tab, jQuery Version- choose “legacy.1.12.4” and not “Default From WordPress”. Click save, this worked for me.
January 28, 2021 at 5:28 PM #129368CharlieNutParticipantYou guys really need to get your act together. Saying you get many emails, as an excuse of not replying to mine. What kind of business are you running?
January 28, 2021 at 5:30 PM #129369CharlieNutParticipantI’m using latest version of WP and “All in one WP security and firewall” if that helps.
January 28, 2021 at 6:06 PM #129370CarinaParticipantHi Charly and thanks for trying to help, the problem is we have a multisite installation and I use the same function of the plugin I wrote to you about earlier and it is the same version you wrote about now so the menues do work but it gives errors due to the fact that the JQuery is outdated and should not be used.
I got this solution from a supportive WordPressperson but it should only be used temporarily. Another solution is to revert back to an earlier version of the WordPress where the JQuery is working with the 1,12,4.
March 4, 2021 at 10:07 PM #129671digitalguruParticipantThe enable jQuery migrate helper plugin helped me too. I assume we can expect to be emailed when this problem is permanently fixed.
September 28, 2022 at 5:39 AM #133140AyushParticipantI also had similar kind of issue. In my case menu is working properly on desktop but not on mobile but after some efforts I am able to fix that issue.
