Hi,
You have already given me code to add to a child theme functions file to use the excerpt text in the slider, is it possible to have some code to use the excerpt for the text in the other sections of the homepage?

We apologize for the delay in response. Actually, there is an option for character control in customizer for each home page section. If it isn’t full fill your requirement, we will surely add the excerpt control in our upcoming version. Or we can provide the code of any specific section to you for now. Hope it makes the sense.

If you could send me the code it would be great! I’d like it for all the homepage sections please. The trouble with selecting the text limit in the customizer is that each section has a different amount of words needed, so often text is cut off.Many thanks and I look forward to the update.

The update for this theme does not appear to show excerpts for the pages, I still cannot customise the excerpts for the homepage. I’d really appreciate some help with this we have waited very patiently!
