Post author: nicename vs display name

    For the author name display on each blog post, generated in template-tags.php, user_nicename is used for the display rather than display_name.

    I’ve updated this in my own version, but is this something that will likely be fixed in an update?

    If not, what’s the best way for me to make this change such that it won’t be overwritten by future updates?

    I have the same problem. Doesn’t look like it was ever answered. Can someone walk me through how to fix this?
