Great to hear.

yes, you need to do it section by section if there’s overlay. During theme update, you don’t need to re-enter the code.

In order to remove the overlay of the photos, you can put this code in the Customizer > Additional CSS and update it.
```
.thumb-overlay.main-slider-overlay {
    background: none;
}
```
